At a glance, see where Australia is hot, windy, and get general wind direction across the nation.

Also provides last three days’ data for each station in an interactive graph beside the map.

    Site is limited to just two widgets, with nothing in the way of anything around them. Also, you really need to have a super widescreen monitor to see the page like it’s meant to be seen.

    That said, the map is super-shiny, with lots of detail. And the graphs are really detailed.

    So 4/5 from me for awesome map generation skills, just could have been a bit more friendly to people with giant screens.

  3. I encountered some small layout differences with Safari. On the other side, it’s all good with this app and concept.

    The picture of Australia during a heatwave today is awesome – totally red! I noticed some blue arrows around Sydney and sure enough 5 minutes later a cool change is coming through to prove it’s real time. Definitely one to bookmark. Works fine on chrome but zooming out it hung, but fine when restarted.
