Our long-term objective is to promote bicycle as an efficient, respected and safe mode of transport in urban areas.
Our mashup allows cyclists or would-be cyclists:
- to access and exchange safety information, contributed both by the road safety authorities (crash locations) and other cyclists (reported hazards)
- to study the best (safest, simplest) route in an interactive map
- to review and rate up and coming bicycle lane developments
- to access government representatives information for a given location
This project has been a catalyst for implementing a number of ideas and concepts that are shaping the new relationship between government and citizens:
- transparency,
- accountability,
- collaboration,
- civic engagement.

More exciting features to come!

This is a great site! Really useful to see where the bike paths are!
I will show my friends for sure!
And it looks pretty too!
I love that u can report a hazard as well and add it to the map!
It’s a fantastic idea to get the bike community to be involved in fixing up our streets
Note from the developers:
if you access the website from your iPhone, it will center the map on your current position.
Enjoy, Herve
Awesome idea, please continue to develop this.
cheers,
-Jeff
