WheretoLive.com.au is a search tool designed to help Australians find their ideal suburb or town.
By comparing proximity to essential and emergency services with suburb profiling data provided by the ABS, Australians now have a unique opportunity to research their next move.
This application aims for a laudable goal, but for me it falls a bit short.
When I’m looking for somewhere to live, I don’t typically do so on the basis of how near I am to a police station, or a medical centre, or to a school.
So while the goal is a good one, I think this application needs to make use of a lot more information that just the three options it current has.

I couldn’t agree more, and I have every intention to integrate more data ASAP.
Ideally I would have had more options for the deadline however I only found out about the competition last weekend.
